The Backpack Jet is a small jet engine disguised as a plain backpack. It's activated by pulling a cord on the back, which transforms the backpack into a jet and starts it up.
History
Numbuh 1 went on a fishing trip with his dad at a lake, surrounded by other dads who had brought their own sons. The dads kept disappearing until Numbuh 1's dad was fished up on top of a huge cliff next to the lake. Numbuh 1 put his backpack on and activated it to fly him up the cliff and retrieve his dad (Operation: O.O.M.P.P.A.H.).
Numbuh 4 used a similar backpack jet to try and escape from Margie at St. Rita's Preparatory School. But the jet was hit by the Girlifying Rifles and turned into a pink handbag, sending Numbuh 4 crashing into the ground outside of the school (Operation: F.U.T.U.R.E.).

- Even though the backpack is made of fabric, it somehow turns into a jet engine made of metal.
